Every child in Baltimore deserves access to a high quality public education, and our schools are essential to the city’s economic opportunity, public safety, and community health. I support fully funding Maryland’s Blueprint for Education, investing in modern school facilities, and providing stable, long term resources that reflect Baltimore’s unique challenges. Students succeed when their basic needs are met, which is why I support wraparound services like school based health care, mental health support, free meals, and reliable transportation. Strong schools also require investing in educators and staff while expanding community schools, family engagement, and accountability focused on support rather than punishment. By strengthening career pathways, protecting college access, and centering equity and community empowerment, we can build public schools that help every Baltimore child thrive and create safer, stronger neighborhoods.
